As Kyle opened the gift, he revealed a small, green, leather-bound book, with the title embossed in gold: "Tale of the Glass Jewels". It was a classic Elvish adventure story: it wasn't particularly long (as the book was only about half an inch thick), but it was highly-regarded by those who had read it - elves or otherwise.
"That's a great story !" Lydia exclaimed, with a gasp. "It's been several years since I read it, though... it's my fault for forgetting about it ..."
