Reintroducing Arcade Medals!

For the first time since 2014, we have an arcade on our board - and, therefore, we will be awarding Arcade Medals!

In case you can't remember (or weren't here when we first had an arcade ), these are awarded for acheiving specific high scores in some of the more popular, 'classic' games in the arcade. There are three grades of Arcade Medal: Bronze, Silver and Gold. These are in increasing order of difficulty: Bronze is supposed to be moderately difficult to obtain, while Gold is supposed to be very difficult to obtain. Truly exceptional achievements can be rewarded by multiple Gold Medals.

Each game has specific boundaries for awarding Arcade Medals. These are as follows:

Tetris: 
Bronze - 50,000 points
Silver - 100,000 points
Gold - 150,000 points (Plus an additional Gold for every additional 100,000 points beyond the first 150,000)

Pac-Man:
Bronze - 25,000 points
Silver - 50,000 points
Gold - 100,000 points (Plus an additional Gold for every additional 50,000 points beyond the first 100,000)

Snake:
Bronze - 1,500 points
Silver - 2,500 points
Gold - 4,000 points (Plus an additional Gold for every additional 2,000 points beyond the first 4,000)

Asteroids
Bronze - 50,000 points
Silver - 100,000 points
Gold - 200,000 points (+1 Gold for every 100,000 points beyond the first 200,000)

These medals have been awarded retroactively to anybody who has already achieved the required scores on any of these games. Also, if anybody earns an Arcade Medal on a game, and then earns a higher-level one, only the highest level earned is displayed.
