Since I expect to release the new default theme sooner rather than later, I might as well reveal a little bit more about it .
I've added some more 'responsiveness' to the main index for larger phones or smaller tablets. To illustrate, here's what a forum on the main index looks like at 640 pixels wide on Golden Night (and our other existing responsive themes):
And here's what it looks like at 640 pixels wide on the new default theme:
Yes, I added the subforum list and the posting date/time back in ! These still won't display on the smallest screens (for example, a 320px phone display won't have either of these things, so it will still look the same as it does now) - but these things should both show up on screens that are small but not that small .
I should also note: I've already implemented the template changes necessary to make this work. For now, this is just "under the bonnet", so you shouldn't notice anything different on the board just yet - but, if you do, then that's probably why .
