Further back in the thread, I posted a population density map of the USA, in terms of Canadas. Here's a similar-style population density map for Canada, which shows just how extreme the population disparity between various parts of the country is:

Quite striking, but I suspect a similar map for "Each coloured area contains one-quarter of the linguistics textbooks in Canada" would be even more extreme. Just three coloured dots in BC, and then the entire rest of the country in yellow .
