Wow, seems they're much more unified on names for Italy than for Germany!
I suppose it makes sense, though. After all, about 2,000 years ago, Italy was a lot more influential than Germany (Italy was at the centre of the Roman Empire, while Germany was just a bunch of tribes). So, I can see why the Latin name for Italy spread so much further than that for Germany.
