A new species (and, indeed, a new genus) of carnivorous dinosaur has been discovered in Argentina:

It lived around 80 million years ago, and it would have been quite similar to T. rex. The species has been named Llukalkan aliocranianus - where 'Llukalkan' is Mapuche for 'one who causes fear', and 'aliocranianus' is from the Latin for 'different skull'.
