Yeah, I'm not sure if anybody in the UK uses bottled water for cooking .
As explained at the beginning of this thread, the 'bottled water' that we typically buy in the UK is naturally-sourced mineral water (and if anybody tries to sell bottled water that isn't naturally-sourced, then either it's the cheapest option on the shelf or it becomes a scandal). And the idea of using mineral water in cooking just seems weird to me .
Though, that's made me curious. Are there any benefits that would justify the extra cost? I would suspect not (and even if there were, it'd probably be cheaper just to use tap water and add in the minerals separately )
