Resident Evil 2 has won the public vote to take home the Golden Joystick Awards' Ultimate Game of the Year.
The remake, which was released in January this year, beat out strong competition that included Apex Legend, Telling Lies, and Control as well as plenty of others.

Congrats to them ! I'm a little sad to see this award going to a remake rather than an original game, but given the level of critical acclaim it received, I'm not too surprised.
So, do you agree with their choice, or would you have made a different one?
