Chess is a difficult game - and when it's played badly, the results can be quite amusing . But when it's played extremely well... the results can be quite awe-inspiring, so I think we ought to have a thread to celebrate the most outstanding moves we've ever seen!
I'll start with this game, in which a Gotham Chess subscriber sacrifices a knight, and then their queen, in order to deliver a devastating checkmate with a rook and bishop. I think it's fair to say that Levy was amazed !
So, do you have any more?
