It's thought that there could be loads of these all across the galaxy (perhaps even more than the number of stars). However, since they don't have a host star (and don't emit any light of their own), they're very hard to spot - though, we were able to find this one using gravitational microlensing.
I don't expect we'll find any life on this thing; however, it's still interesting to know it exists .

However, it has a surface temperature of 430°C (806°F), which is hot enough to melt lead - so, don't hold out too much hope of finding life there .
There recently has been a reported presence of organic molecules on the atmosphere of Venus. Maybe we can live on the Atmosphere of Venus.
