NHL AWARDS NOMINEES ANNOUNCED
TORONTO - The season-end awards nominees for the 20-21 NHL hockey season have been announced, and not surprisingly, the Canucks are everywhere to be found. Pavel Datsyuk, Nikita Alexeyev, and I (Olli Kukkonen) sat down and discussed each one.
Just for the record, the following are already locks due to being statistical awards:
Art Ross Memorial Trophy (Points) - Matvey Kolpakov, Vancouver Canucks (157 points)
Rocket Richard Trophy (Goals) - Patrik Laine, Vancouver Canucks (65 goals)
Wayne Gretzky Trophy (Assists) - Matvey Kolpakov, Vancouver Canucks (107 assists)
Roger Crozier Saving Grace Award (Save Percentage) - Raimo Vasama, Vancouver Canucks (.955)
William Jennings Memorial Trophy (Fewest goals) - Raimo Vasama and Jacob Markström, Vancouver Canucks (123 goals, the fewest-ever in a season with a minimum of 70 games!)
