But then, the BBC "Have Your Say" section is trash anyway: the only opinion you're allowed to express on any given topic is the popular opinion,
and anyone who expresses any other opinion gets downvoted into oblivion.
Do upvotes and downvotes count under this law?
Also this is why 4chan (with its semi-true anonymous) and forums were better back in the day, people just posted what they wanted no need to worry about up/down votes better content (that didn't just go with the mainstream view of the website) and more variation in what was being posted.
