Some of the other points are simply impossible for us to implement too. For example, point #9 - "Switch geolocation options off by default" - looks to me like it would make it impossible for us to enforce IP bans.
I just hope this proposal gets consigned to the dustbin where it belongs - or, at the very least, that if it does go into law, that it comes with carve-outs for small and/or non-commercial operations (because, right now, it doesn't even have that).
And you know what, Good luck getting an American court to enforce laws that were drafted over seas by a foreign entity that does not need to abide by the Constitution of the United States, You would have though like the US fought to gain its independence from such an arrangement of over seas law makers
Also how the heck can an IP be considered Geolocation? Geolocation involves more then just IP these days.
