Group profit before tax and non-underlying items reached £46m, up from £45m in the prior year.
The retailer’s travel arm reported a trading profit of £50m, up from £47m, while its high street operations saw profit slip from £24m to £22m.
WHSmith’s group sales surged by 8% to £926m on the back of a 13% jump at its travel business.

I'm shocked by this. WH Smith is a bit overpriced though, especially for stationary as you can compare the same stuff to other places. The books are more expensive than in Waterstones too.
