He kept speeding down the road. He had no intention of stopping or even slowing down. He had heard enough of her crap.  He was pretty fed up with her and her lies.  As he continued driving, a tornado touched down and scooped up his car. Because it was a small one, it didn't remain up in the air very long. It dropped it a yard later in a fiery ball in a neighbor's yard with a huge explosion.  Nathan was immediately killed.

The tornado began back-building as it descended back into the sky.
Of course, Shauna was completely unable to keep up with Nathan - and by this point, she had fallen well behind. Thus, she had no idea that anything had happened to him.

However, another of these tornadoes soon came after her... it didn't sweep her up off the spot, but it did yank the baseball bat straight out of her hand.

"EEEEEK :O !!!!!" she cried, as she frantically ran for her life. "What the ***** was THAT?!?!"
The pizza delivery guy showed up about half an hour later, not noticing the wreckage of a car as he sped past. He stayed focused despite the windy conditions he had to deal with. He dropped off the pizza at the Reynolds home, making sure to deliver it into the hands of someone who lived there(Megan), and then left. He headed back to the pizza place in record time.

Meanwhile, someone who passed by did manage to call in the wreck to 911.
Shauna dashed away from the tornado as fast as her legs could carry her. After a few minutes, she made it to what felt like safety... but by now, she was exhausted and out of breath, so she sat on a bench to recover.

But then, the tornado caught up - and sent the baseball bat flying straight into Shauna's head, instantly knocking her out.
Megan noticed the winds swirling outside and became worried as they sat around eating their food. She noticed Brian and Jessica also glance out the window in the living room. She looked at Brian and asked, "Should we be worried?"

Brian already was becoming worried as he glanced from his sister to his girlfriend. He sighed and said, "Jess, give Dad and Mom a call and then meet us downstairs in the basement."

Jessica nodded and attempted to make the call, but by now the cell towers were down. She then caught up with the others.
Later that night, a pair of panic-stricken old ladies arrived at the Reynolds house. One of them knocked on the door, while the other kept hold of an unconscious Shauna.

"We... we found this poor girl by the sidewalk," they explained. "She was completely passed out... has obviously taken a hard knock to the head... we were wondering if you'd be able to take her in?"
Ryan answered the door after hearing someone knock. He immediately recognized Shauna and said, "Oh God. Shauna."
The old ladies were slightly taken aback by Ryan's response. "You... know her? Is there a reason why you'd be unable to take her in? And if so, do you know where else we could take her? You must understand, we can't leave her out on her own like this..."
He immediately said, "She can come in." He sighed softly as he helped Shauna inside the house. He couldn't help but notice the windy and crazy weather outside as he closed the front door. "She torments my daughter mercilessly as well as her best friend."
"Well, good luck keeping the peace between them :) ," the old ladies responded. "Anyway, we must be off before this storm gets any worse... stay safe!"

The two women waved, then turned around, and quickly disappeared out of sight - such was the intensity of the storm they were walking straight into.

"I feel a bit bad for those women..." Megan remarked. "Perhaps we should've let them in too?"
