The Coffee House

"I said you are a child who refuses to take responsibility for your actions. You are nothing more than a juvenile delinquent." The officer said.

Shauna finally gave up on arguing, sat on her bed facing the wall, and began to cry her eyes out.

"Why won't anyone listen to me ?!" she wailed.

No one cared to listen to her anymore.  They had heard enough from her.  The level of her entitlement was truly staggering.

Eventually, Shauna reluctantly accepted her fate, stopped crying, and went to sleep.

However, once the morning arrived, she revealed that she'd learned all the wrong lessons from the previous day. "How do I get out of here? Will I get out if I promise to stay single for a year?"

An officer glanced at her and said, "We are still trying to locate your mother. The owner of the hospital is filing charges of graffitiing it. If it goes through, you could be facing a fine and also community service of up to 1000 hours."

Shauna was in utter shock: she let out a piercing scowl of disbelief.

"1000 HOURS?!" she yelled. "I can't work for 1000 hours! I need to eat and sleep... and I'll miss school! Why the f... I mean, why the hell does everyone hate me now ?"

Now the officer was fuming as he shouted back at her, "Maybe if you had shed a lot more respect on the hospital and its staff, you wouldn't be in so much trouble now! It is your own fault, Miss Daniels!"

"But it's the hospital's fault!" Shauna whined. "They could've worked with me to set up a singles bar... but they REFUSED! So I had no choice BUT to turn my ward into one!"

The officer shook his head. The look of disgust was evident on his face.  "Disgusting how you aren't willing to accept responsibility for your evil actions." He said.

"EVIL?!" Shauna cried indignantly. "You're saying a singles bar is EVIL?! Then why don't you go shutting down everyone else's singles bars? Why pick on mine ???"
