Semi-final line-up:
Men's Singles
Novak Djokovic [1] vs. Rafael Nadal [3]
Alexander Zverev [6] vs. Stefanos Tsitsipas [5]
Women's Singles
Barbora Krejčíková vs. Maria Sakkari [17]
Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova [31] vs. Tamara Zidanšek
Major surprises on the women's side: it's honestly shocking that Gauff and Świątek are both out . It's a very odd line-up too: Krejčíková and Zidanšek came out of absolutely nowhere (and while Sakkari and Pavlyuchenkova are more established, neither has reached a Grand Slam semi-final prior to this one). I guess Emily was right about it being "some random" .
As for the Men's Singles... no real surprises there. Perhaps Tsitsipas beating Medvedev was a minor surprise; however, that one could always have gone either way .
