Load warning CJ's Sims 4 adventures

Well, I decided that my Sims don't have a big enough house: the one I built at the start of the game is a bit too cramped for a family of eight. Furthermore, it was cobbled together by me when I was just starting out, and now that I'm more familiar with the game's tools, I'd like to give my Sims something a little more purpose-built .

Therefore, I've started work on this. It's on a 50x40 plot of land (which is over three times larger than the 30x20 plot used for my Sims' current house):

So far, I've only done the downstairs bit, and I haven't even furnished it at all . However, the basic shape of it is coming together quite nicely: there are six large rooms, which will become a lounge, a kitchen, a dining room, a study, a playroom, and a gym. In the central corridor, there are two small rooms (which are going to become tiolets), and a staircase (which will lead up to the bedrooms, and down to the basement).

It'll take me a while to finish this, and I don't expect my Sims will move into it until the beginning of "Season 3" (they've only just started Season 2 ). However, it does give you a look at what's coming up!

Well, the childcare situation hasn't improved . Siobhan's not been washed, fed or given any attention... and her parents were told she'd be taken away if this continued:

Eventually, Cheryl tried to feed Siobhan in order to remedy the situation... but, she was still angry, so instead of eating, she just made a mess on the floor :

Sadly, all this toddler chaos meant the adults were too busy to pay any attention to their visitors. Nina came over to see her former housemates - but instead of talking to them, she just had to talk to Cheryl's apple trees :

And as if four small children wasn't enough... Kyle just had another one. The thing is, he had this child with Jocelyn :

As far as I'm aware, Cheryl still doesn't know about any of this ...

Well, I did a bit more work on the new house. I made the shape of the front more interesting, and added some windows:

Meanwhile, back at the old house, Conor's ghost decided to come back and pay us a visit. Unfortunately, when he saw his headstone, he started crying :

In an attempt to cheer him up, Cheryl invited him in - for a repeat of my very first screenshot:

Then, once morning came, and he was back in the ground... Cheryl went back to her garden. She's got some cherry trees, to go with her apples and orchids:

She's on a mission... and she's making good progress with it ...

Well, the twins are growing up now - and, their birthday has arrived. Lydia has prepared two cakes, ready for the occasion:

After they blew the candles out, Nelson and Orion aged up and became children. This means Siobhan is the only toddler left, so there will be less toddler chaos from now on... but there might be plenty of child chaos :

There was going to be another birthday too - as Cheryl's big day arrived. However, I didn't want her to become an old woman just yet - so, I bought her a Potion of Youth. This is expensive, but it means she re-starts the 'Adult' phase of her life from the beginning, so she isn't going grey for the time being :

However, it might have de-aged her brain a little too much - because she then went on her computer, and started trolling some forums :

I hope she doesn't discover TCH !

More progress on the new house - where I've added a second floor (which was mostly just copied and pasted from the first one ). This will include a bathroom, and five bedrooms (four for my own Sims, and one for guests):

Unfortunately... a new Sim has moved in next door to the new house's location. This is Kei Silver - who, in @ Megan's RPGs, is the tyrannical king against whom Kyle and the others must fight. However, in this universe, he has no crown - and he's just an annoying neighbour who gets up to mischief:

His first victim was Nina. As soon as they met up, he started flirting with her... and she immediately made it clear that she wasn't interested:

Poor Nina... perhaps she should go and warn the others!!!!

Well, the family haven't been having a great day . First of all, poor Connie got woken up by a monster under her bed, which absolutely terrified her. Then, she ran to the twins to tell them... but they got scared too. In the end, Lydia had to get out of bed and calm them down:

But, the trouble didn't stop when the sun came up. Later that day, Kei came for a visit... and he peed over Cheryl's beautiful plants :

Naturally, when Cheryl discovered the puddle, she was furious with him:

After all this chaos, Orion decided to try and get away from it all, by going fishing. Sadly, even this didn't go to plan, because he failed to catch any fish . However, he did catch a 'future cube', which can supposedly tell the future. Here's Nelson, giving it a shake:

Now, a bit of an update on what's going on in the Caliente household .

Conor's daughters, Ashley and Lucy, are both teenagers now. Here they are with their friend Lily (also a teenager), and their mother Nina (not an old lady yet because she took one of those youth potions, just like Cheryl did):

Ashley's already started learning some adult skills, such as cooking. Unfortunately, Nina's not available to help her... and, as a result, she set the grill on fire ! She had to call for help - and eventually, she got it from Don Lothario (Cheryl's former boyfriend, of all people ):

As for why Nina wasn't available to help Ashley there... she was still annoyed with Kei, so she went and beat him up. Poor man didn't know what hit him:

But, after the fire was put out, a teenage boy called Kasey came over to visit. Here he is, talking to Ashley and Lucy:

Let's hope they don't get into a fight over him !

Well, Siobhan aged up. She had a birthday party with a nice birthday cheesecake - and now, she's a child:

Once the celebrations were over, Cheryl got back to work on her little gardening project. She grafted together an apple tree and a cherry tree, to make a pomegranate tree:

Meanwhile, Lydia decided to try her hand at fishing. Unfortunately, instead of a fish, she caught this weird squiddy seaweedy thing... which she seems happy with, but it's not a fish :

She persisted with it until night time - but then, when she went home, she was greeted by the following sight:

I swear that Brooks, Cheryl, Connie, Orion and Siobhan are just back-floating here... there hasn't been a mass murder !!!!

Over in Jocelyn's house, her son Sebastian has aged up to become a toddler. Here, he's fast asleep in his toddler bed, while his parents chat to one another:

Meanwhile, Nina's started a new garden, which I believe has tulips, although I can't remember for sure. He she is, showing it to the ghost of her mother Katrina:

But, she did also find another guy to replace Conor. He's a young man called Judd... but, instead of dating him, Nina's just tricking him with a hand buzzer :

On the plus side, the exterior of the new house is pretty much finished. The roof isn't great, but at least it's there - and it's large enough to contain three additional rooms (all of which are just spares now):

I still need to decorate the interior (and actually put some stuff in it ), but this is coming along nicely !

Well, I took a bit of a break from this game - but, I think I'll try and get back into it a bit now .

After seeing Nelson and Orion's work, Kyle got sad that he wasn't such a good artist. So, he decided to have a go too... and, his sadness was reflected in his own work:

But, on a happier note, it was Brooks's birthday - and his sister Cortney came over to celebrate with him . This means he's an old man now:
