Another Adulthood

[Kyng]

Cassandra sighed heavily: she could tell that her memory modification hadn't worked. "Look, you can't just not do anything... you have to force yourself to do something. It's the only way you'll get any better..."

Shortly afterwards, Nestor came down, and made a threat of his own. "If you don't go to see Alexis, then I'm drafting you into my military. And you're staying in the military until you find something else to do with your life. My wife is right: you can't just sit in bed all day and not do anything - so we have to make sure you don't."

[Megan]

Kyle glared at Nestor. “I’m not joining the military! I never said I wouldn’t see Alexis. But I’m not gonna do anything.”

[Kyng]

"Yes, you WILL !" Nestor threatened. "If you are drafted into military, then you WILL be given orders - and should you ignore these, you WILL be disciplined like any other soldier. If you don't wish to join the military, then you know what you need to do: find something else to do with yourself!"

[Megan]

“I don’t want to!” Kyle yelled tears feeling his eyes. “Why can’t you understand that?! I just want to die…I can’t anymore!”

[Kyng]

"If you want to die, then at least die a hero on the battlefield!" Nestor urged. "It's far better than dying a wimp without accomplishing anything. So if you want to die, then I say that's all the more reason to join the military!"

[Megan]

“I don’t want to! Just leave me alone!” Kyle sobbed starting to cry.

”Nestor maybe we should leave him be for now and try one of the options we discussed?” Cassandra suggested.

[Kyng]

"You mean, de-aging him or turning him into a girl?" Nestor asked. "But, given that just we did it your way and it didn't work, I think we should try it my way now. Then, if that doesn't work, we can go back to your way."

Nestor wrapped his tail tightly around Kyle's leg, and dragged him straight out of his bed. "Come on, to the barracks!"

[Megan]

Cassandra frowned. “But that’ll be too rough!”


”im not going!” Kyle yelped struggling. “Leave me alone!”

[Kyng]

"Yes, you ARE," Nestor shot back, as he tightened his grip further. "Unless you can propose an alternative. One that isn't just 'Die'. You have until we reach the barracks to think of one!"

Aliana noticed Kyle being dragged along the floor by her father - and, of course, she burst out laughing. "BAHAHAHAHAHA !!!! Just look at yourself, Mr Mature!"

Kyle just started to cry. “No!” he wailed. “I won’t! Just leave me alone!”
