Statuettes
#1
Does anyone here own any statuettes or collect them?

I admire how realistic statuettes look and if I had a lot of money to spare, I'd probably collect them.

Currently, I own the 3 Lord of The Rings statuettes from the DVD box sets, a Game of Thrones throne, Tyrion from Game of Thrones, and Yugi from Yu-Gi-Oh.

I don't own any myself, simply because they don't really fit in with my main interests (I tend to collect model trains and Formula One cars instead :P ). However, I will admit that they look nice, and perhaps I'll be tempted by some one day  !

Well, I broke down and bought the Gandalf one since I currently have the extra cash to spare, with my Walmart discount it was around $73. If I can ever find the Kaiba one for $75 or less, I'll probably purchase it too.

Only downside. They tend to be expensive. Most of mine were near that price range or more too. Sadly couldn’t wait much usually they disappear if I did.

The upside is the older they grow the more money they may be worth in the foreseeable future, because of their scarcity.

True. Though don’t plan on selling them ever.

They do indeed have sentimental value.
