I've been watching this one daily. In love with this movie. I had discovered this one while searching for "real life stories" movies, and had found this thrilling movie I'd like to review in 7 parts : 1. Plot Review. 2. Genres. 3. Major Characters Review. 4. Dialogue and language. 5. Sound effects review. 6. Visual effects review. 7. Final thoughts and rating for it :
1. Plot Review : A creepy and aggressive 21 year old guy had fallen for a 17 year old and had made her pregnant. Now in Canada, the country I'm residing in, the legal age for sexual intercourse or anything else is 18 and up. So, it's a big deal if a minor had slept with someone over 18. At this age, you're seen by law as a major adult, anything younger and you're a minor. Hence the plot twist.
2. Genres : Drama, romantic-thriller.
3. Major Characters review : Angela Curson (the female protagonist) had been well played and looked young enough to be a 17 year old girl. I had liked how the actress had portrayed her in the movie. The main male role is Chad Bruning, nice character : creepy and a stalker, obsessed with the girl. Just as a creep and stalker should be. I had also enjoyed Chad's adoptive mother's acting and role in it as well as Angela's parents'. Had been a little over-protective but under such circumstances, their reactions and behaviors towards their only daughter's adult boyfriend are understandable.
4: Dialogue and Language : Had been angry and aggressive language. Filled with profanities.
5. Sound effects review : There's a scene where Chad had broken a plate, and the sound effect had been real. Nice footage and dramatically thrilling music for the mood.6. Visual effects review : Nothing to say about that unless that every actor had been dolled up, skin and body perfect, but I know irl, we're imperfect beings so yeah. That's the thing I don't like about movies, they'd never show a pimpled teenager or a braced one with any physical defects.7. Final thoughts and rating for it : 10/10. My particular favorite, and my usual afternoon or Friday evening movie night. Or weekend evenings movie nights. So yeah, I'm in love with it so my thoughts on it might be a tad biased. My apologies for that if I had come across as such. I'd never be bored with it at all, no matter that I watch it every day. It's become my timeless classic.
And actually, where to watch it? Right here on YT :
