My brother works in a hospital and has already had the vaccine. I will be getting it as soon as they offer it to me, although I don't think that will be for a while.

Yes, but the re-infection rates are very low unless you have a crap ton of health issues such as respiratory issues/compromised or suppressed immune system. Then again, we never know as this virus is pretty unpredictable. I'm not saying that once you have it, you won't get it again. I'm saying that it's pretty unlikely. But everyone is different, so I suppose it just depends on the person.

I'm not getting it until there's more available data. Also if you've had covid already, you can't get the vaccine for 90 days anyway.

All this fear around the vaccine reminds me of a funny scene in stargate atlantis.

Now obviously they're messing with him but it's still pretty funny given the vaccine uses a kind of gene therapy and everyone is afraid of having their code altered lol.

Had my vaccine today. Really quick and easy procedure! My arm is aching slightly now but the NHS staff were extremely friendly and efficient. My booster is in March. I recommend.
