Recently, there's been a coffee-related trend that's taken the internet by storm - and, what kind of coffee house would we be if we didn't cover it ?
It concerns 'Dalgona coffee' - a beverage which originated on the Indian subcontinent, and subsequently became popular in South Korea. But now, it's becoming popular around the world too - in part because the drink requires only four ingredients (instant coffee granules, sugar, water, and milk - all of which can be found in the typical home )
Here's a video by The Cooking Foodie, explaining how to make it:
It's not a massively complicated recipe . All you need to do is mix 2 tablespoons of instant coffee; 2 tablespoons of sugar; and 2 tablespoons of hot water in a bowl, then whisk them until they become thick and creamy. Then, you add milk (and ice cubes) to a cup, filling it three-quarters full - and finally, you top it with your whipped coffee .
So, has anybody tried this - and do you have any recommendations to improve it?
