I really need to make it a priority to read all of these books on my bucket list seeing as the LOTR universe is one of my most favorites of all time. I think I've read all of LOTR except ROTK and I read nearly all of The Hobbit. So basically, I've read most of the more popular books, not to mention I own The Hobbit and an all-in-one version of the LOTR. I'm sure they're all breathtaking masterpieces.

And for what it’s worth, why couldn’t the eagles fly Frodo to Mordor? Sauron throws home runs with fireballs!

Plenty of people have come up with responses to this... do the answers on this page satisfy you?

I think the main point is: it's not their job to do that. They can (and do) help sometimes, but it's up to them - and they don't like exposing themselves to unnecessary danger.

Well this other article has another story.
Either way, a road trip is a lot more stealthy than Eagle Uber.

Gothmog: Lord of the Balrogs who killed three major elven lords and the last one killed him in a double K-O.
Also Gothmog: Lieutenant of Morgul who...is just sorta there and is probably not an orc despite what the films tell you.

In a war between Isengard and Mordor...I think anyone who gives it any thought would know who wins.
