I did try to do one of Aliana, but the AI just would not play ball. I specified that she had purple skin, but it didn't seem to understand the meaning of 'purple' .

I'll probably do some more at some point, but two characters I won't do are Nestor and Henrik. They already have good human-drawn art as it is!

Another two attempts at AI image generation. First of all, here's the one it did for Aliana:



And now one of her mother, Cassandra:



These two portraits aren't bad... apart from one glaring issue: Cassandra's skin should be blue, and Aliana's should be purple. I specifically included this in the prompts I wrote, but they still came out like this anyway. For some reason, the AI just cannot seem to do skin colours outside the usual range of human skin tones .

So, if the previous two posts were a showcase of the power of AI image generation, this post is a showcase of its limitations ...

Well, I found I could get the AI to generate images in black and white. So, here's one for Aliana:



And one for Cassandra:



And finally, one for Aliana's brother (and Cassandra's son), Lysander:



These are... acceptable, I guess? Not having any colour at all (other than Aliana's emerald) is a shame - but, it's better than having the wrong colour .
