I prefer fiction but I do like both. Like, I read a lot of articles for uni related work but in terms of general entertainment, I would opt to made up stories.
I mostly read fiction.....things like fantasy, horror, science fiction, thriller, mystery, etc. Once in a great while, I might read someone's autobiography but that doesn't happen very often. I normally stick with fiction.
I prefer nonfiction, but don't mind a little fiction (esp. alternative history) now and again.

I'd say both! I mainly liked non-fiction back when I mainly wrote non-fiction, but I started reading fiction more often after I started writing it. Now I enjoy both a lot. Getting lost in a story is great, and learning something new can be really enjoyable as well.
