From a quick look at the channel, it seems most of his videos are about pop culture and gaming - but viewed through the lens of real-world historical mythology. On balance, I think it's likely to be of more interest to history fans than to pop culture fans in general - so, I agree that you put it in the correct place
. With that being said, if the discussion gets dominated by the pop culture aspects of his channel (rather than the historical aspects) - then, the thread will probably end up getting moved or split.

I did wonder whether I should put my "American bully XL dogs to be banned" thread in Science and Nature, or Current Events and Politics.
In the end, I went with the latter. I reasoned that the story is newsworthy because of its impact on pets, their owners, and the people around them - and that's not a "Science and Nature" issue (pets are animals, but not part of 'nature').
Of course, some science will be relevant to the thread: the physiology and behaviour of these dogs are important talking points. However, I ultimately decided this was of secondary importance, compared to the impact on the pets themselves and the people around them.
In the end, I went with the latter. I reasoned that the story is newsworthy because of its impact on pets, their owners, and the people around them - and that's not a "Science and Nature" issue (pets are animals, but not part of 'nature').

Veteran with PTSD writes kids' books on emotions
Is this a Mental Health thread, or a Reading thread? I went with the former, because it appears that the books' primary purpose is to educate children on mental disorders, rather than to entertain them (although, hopefully they will also do that).
Furthermore, it's likely to prompt a wider discussion of how to explain mental health issues to young children - and that's certainly not an 'Entertainment' discussion!

Palm oil replacement found?
Another one I was unsure about: it could be Health and Lifestyle (because many food and cosmetic products use palm oil), or Science and Nature (because the main reason why palm oil is controversial is because of its impact on the environment - in particular, on endangered species).
In the end, I went for the latter, because I decided that was more relevant to the story at hand. There's a good chance that it will be used in food and cosmetics one day, but there's not a lot we can say about those products until they're actually made - so the main talking point for now will probably be the environmental impact. (Of course, if and when those foods and cosmetics are made, threads about those products will go in "Food and Drink" or "Home and Beauty"!)
