A dentist has urged for parents to stop putting fizzy drinks and sugary milkshakes into their baby’s bottles.
Feeding your child fizzy drinks leads to rotting teeth, warned the dentist.
Although rates of child tooth decay have declined in the UK, dentists have insisted more needs to be done.
‘I’ve seen a two-year-old have to have nearly all of his teeth taken out – it’s quite distressing,’ dentist Lauren Harrihy told the BBC.
Harrihy did agree that it can be difficult to get children to clean their teeth but said parents need to stop feeding their babies sugary drinks or putting sugar on fruit.
Wow, poor babies . You'd think it would be common sense for the parents not to do this .
I just hope these were isolated incidents, rather than being part of a trend...
