Now, I realize that this probably doesn't warrant its own topic but I find the story to be interesting and very much worth sharing (and besides, it is about a game I've already covered in here, which adds to the flavor).
Without further ado...
For what is worth, I think the kid's complains are legit. Nowhere on the game's cover, box or program does it say that the actual names of the players were not included, so it was fair to expect them to be there. And that aside, paying full price for a game riddled with bugs in a time in which there was no way to fix these issues (no internet patches and updates back then, boys) is kind of a slap in the face, particularly when the misleading information on the box promised much more.
It was also fair to expect much better quality from a game backed by Major League Baseball itself. I have their products and they are mostly great in quality, so why this one should get a pass?
