To see why this is true, look at this Tube map:
- On the light blue ● Victoria Line, northbound trains travel northwards from Brixton to Walthamstow Central. On the way, they pass through Euston, and then through King's Cross St. Pancras.
- On the black ● Northern Line, northbound trains travel northwards from Morden (at the very bottom of the map), then the line splits into two branches at Kennington. If our northbound train takes the easternmost of the two branches, it will eventually pass through King's Cross St. Pancras, and then through Euston.
