Here's a new thing I've tried today... yakitori, but not the real Japanese thing, rather the kind bought from Sainsbury's :P It was lovely, but I had it off the skewers they came with and had it mixed in with noodles :)

Malt vinegar on fish. Was tasty, although it had kind of an alcoholish flavour to it. Apparently it has absolutely none in it though. (I can't have alcohol because of my meds, but I've heard that even if there were alcohol in it the amount would be small enough that I'd be fine.)

I tried polenta today. 

Wasn't massively impressed, TBH. It might be nice if accompanied by something else, but on its own it was a bit bland :( .
