Figured I'd get a thread going. Can post news and thoughts here as they come.

We have the E3 schedule pinned in the TCH Discord and Sunday thru Thursday are the big days.


So far on a news roundup:

Ninty had a tournament Saturday.

Reveals
1. Smash Ultimate Online Tourney Qualifier to be held. US/CAN/MEX can enter except Quebec. Top 4 get to go to EVO 2019 in Las Vegas and play Smash there. (I assume in the EVO tourney)
2. Smash Bros DLC will be announced in the E3 Direct, showing the next fighter.
3. Splatoon 2's final Splatfest will hit 7/18/19, running for 72 hours. Team Chaos (Pearl) vs Team Order (Marina). 23 stages will shift constantly for the first 48 hours. A new variant of Shifty Station will debut for the final 24 hours.
4. Splatoon 2 will get free gear DLC distributed in the news feed to celebrate the final Splatfest.
5. Splatoon 2 will get a new update in July 2019, version 5.0. Splatfest Turf War matches will be added to the private battle options allowing you all 24 stages to be played at night.

EA has also announced FIFA 20, which will be coming to Switch. However, it's a Legacy Edition release, which means they're just going to take FIFA 19 and update the roster and not much else.

Some new announcements

1. Xbox Game Pass comes to PC. It's $10 a month. 100 games expected by August. Will be $5 in beta, which starts now. The two Game Pass services are separate subscriptions.
2. Game Pass will also come in an Ultimate tier which comes with XBL Gold and Game Pass for both platforms. Ultimate runs $15. For E3 it and PC Game Pass will be $1.
3. Halo Infinite comes to X1 and PC.
4. Project Scarlet, a new console, hits 2020. No clue if it's another variant of the X1 or a new console all together.
5. Minecraft Dungeons comes to X1 and Switch.
6. A new X1 controller is coming, promising to be better than the current one. Will work with PC.
7. EA hasn't ruled out doing future Legacy Edition releases for Switch for FIFA.
8. Lego Star Wars returns, with Skywalker Saga. Game will feature content from 9 movies, due out in 2020.
9. Elder Scrolls will release a new entry, TSE Blades will be a free to play entry hitting Switch and mobile in 2019 with Switch offering cross platform play and progression.

4. Project Scarlet, a new console, hits 2020. No clue if it's another variant of the X1 or a new console all together.

It's a brand new console and if it releases before the PS5, would be the first console of the next generation of consoles.

I enjoyed M$, Squarenix, & Nintendo. EA, Blahthesda, & Ubi were kind of meh this year impo. :/
