Enceladus (moon of Saturn)
#1
At time of writing, Saturn has over 60 known moons. One of the more notable ones (which had a decently long thread on the old forum) is Enceladus, the sixth-largest moon of Saturn, which was discovered in 1789 by astronomer William Herschel.

Since it has both water and geological activity (for example, geysers), it's become one of the prime locations in the search for extra-terrestrial life. Most recently, complex organic molecules have been discovered there:

This doesn't prove conclusively that there is life there - but, it certainly seems to have all the right ingredients for life Thumbs-up !

Well, apparently, some new kinds of organic compounds have been found on Enceladus:

This doesn't necessarily mean that life exists (or, at one time did exist) on Enceladus: it's possible that they were created by some purely geological process. However, it is a real cause for intrigue :O !

And now, it's been revealed that phosphates have been found originating from the moon's ocean:

Of course, this isn't proof that there's life there: these could have originated from some geological process. However, phosphates are one of the building blocks of life (or, at least, life as we know it) - so it's a sign that we ought to look more closely!

Dude. That'd be so cool if it had life on it!

How exciting!

I wonder what it would be like if the Earth had more than our one moon? I think it'd be awesome to see!

Would be good fun...at the very least, I'm guessing the tides would be quite freaky  !

I love seeing Sci-Fi shows where they have a planet have more than one moon or where other planets are very close by.
Yeah, the tides may not exist if they were in opposition!
