Many of us will have blind spots in our knowledge of pop culture, where we don't know as much about a particular area as we do about the rest. What are some of yours?
Myself, it'd be fair to say that the whole of pop culture is one big blind spot: beyond a few specific franchises, I simply don't know or care . However, one area I know even less well than the rest is 1990s music. My parents generally listen to music from the 1980s (or even earlier) - so, that's pretty much all I heard until I was old enough to pay attention to contemporary music - by which point, the 1990s were nearly over anyway. I don't know a lot about music in general, but anybody who was mostly active in the years 1990-97 falls completely off my radar .
What about you?
