Three Keys to Freedom

[Kyng]

"I'm not too bad with them myself," Sean smirked. "I mean, I'm not the one who got scared on the flight here . But seriously, we could do with some kind of courage gem or something..."

[Megan]

“N…neither did I…” Greg said frowning. “You must be thinking of someone else.”

[Pyrite]

"I didn't like the take-off, but the rest was fine", Albany insisted. She distinctly remembered sitting next to Martin, who had been assuring her that they were completely safe.

She wished that was the case for him now, even as she was staring up at the cliff face.

[Kyng]

"Well... since we were all fine on the flight, this cliff face should be a piece of cake ," Sean argued. "I'll go first."

Unfortunately, his confidence soon ebbed away: there were very few outcrops to hold onto. His hands began to tremble visibly - and in the end, he had to retreat back to the ground.

"I think we need the Treacle Topaz... who's got that?"

[Megan]

“Umm…I don’t think I have it.” Greg said though he sounded a bit uncertain.

[Pyrite]

"I have it", Albany exclaimed, holding it out. She threw it across to Sean, hoping that he would catch it rather easily.

[Kyng]

"Thanks !" Sean responded, as he clipped the Treacle Topaz to his belt, and attempted the climb again.

Fortunately, it was much easier this time: he no longer had to worry about falling off. If anything, he had the opposite problem: it was difficult to pull his hands and feet off the wall when he wanted to! However, a few minutes later, he had reached the top of the cliff face - and he dutifully tossed the Treacle Topaz down to the next climber.

[Megan]

Greg happened to catch it. He frowned before shoving it at Albany. “Ladies first.” He said with a smirk.

[Pyrite]

"Anything to be away from you", Albany pouted, before clambering up the wall herself, with assistance from the Treacle Topaz.

Upon reaching the top, she stuck her tongue out at Greg and then threw the gem down to him.

[Megan]

Greg pouted before sticking his own tongue out back. He sighed finally making use of the gem and using it to climb up and join them.
