Three Keys to Freedom

Sean nodded appreciatively at Albany, before turning back towards Greg, and staring at him while he stood motionless in front of the water.

"Ten seconds, then we're leaving," he announced. "One, two, three..."

[Megan]

Greg whimpered. “B…but…I don’t like water…” he whined.

[Pyrite]

"And you think those Mayardians are a better chance?" Albany exclaimed, before brazenly lying that she could hear them coming now and he'd better hurry.

[Kyng]

Sean refused to respond to Greg's complaints, and simply continued his countdown.

"Four... five... six... seven... eight... nine... Albany's right, the Mayardians are coming!"

[Megan]

Poor Greg looked like he was going to cry. But it did finally get into the water making his way across. Though as soon as he was in the water, he looked completely terrified. He did eventually join the others, but by that time he was crying like a baby.

Albany was less than impressed with Greg's theatrics. She crossed her arms and huffed at him as he arrived.

"Took you long enough..."

"There there, it's all right," Sean whispered half-comfortingly, and half-mockingly. "I'm sure there will be something much better up this cliff face... why don't we go up there and find out?"

[Megan]

“I told you I don’t like water..,” Greg whined still trembling.

[Pyrite]

"How are you with heights?" Albany smirked, staring up at the cliff face.
