Here's the synopsis:
Quote:A party of archaeologists camps out for the night on the edge of a forest, about a quarter of a mile away from the temple which they intend to explore the following morning. However, during the dead of night, an earthquake tears open the ground underneath them, sending them tumbling into the abyss below.
By the time the survivors have regained their bearings, and become aware of what has happened to them, the ground has sealed up again: they are trapped. Food, drink and other essentials are not an urgent concern: luckily, most of the party's supplies fell into the cavern with them. Instead, their goal is simply to find their way back to the surface.
On one side of the chamber is a towering, marble door: a small peep-hole in this door shows that it leads the archaeologists directly to freedom. However, it is jammed shut, and far too large for the archaeologists to open by force with the tools they have available. To the left of this door is a set of three keyholes: if the archaeologists are able to locate the correct keys, then they will be able to slide the doors open, and escape from the tomb which has been made for them.
On the other side are the entrances to three narrower tunnels, all of which lead deeper underground, to a series of smaller chambers. Each chamber contains a treasure chest, guarded by a monster of some description. A few of these chests contain nothing of value; a few contain extra supplies; and a few contain keys (which may or may not be the ones required to open the marble doors). Most, however, contain ancient Mayardian Gems, encased in obsidian containers which can be clipped onto an archaeologist's belt. When an archaeologist does this, the gemstones confer their powers onto the wearer: for each gemstone, these will consist of a strength and a weakness. This means that no gemstone is ever a straight upgrade or a straight downgrade: instead, specific crystals will prove to be useful against specific enemies.
Here's the plan, showing what caves have been explored so far:

And now, here are the last three posts, to enable us to continue:
Megan Wrote:At that moment, Greg opened his eyes yawning. He had woken just as Albany said his name. “What about me?”
Kyng Wrote:Sean thrust a flask of icy water in front of Greg's face. "Here, take this, it'll help."
Megan Wrote:Greg frowned at Sean as the water was shoved in his face. “I’m fine...” he grumbled though he did take a sip of the water. As he drank though he started to cough again...
I think it's Pyrite's turn, so I'll let him continue .
