How did you find TCH?

I met Kyngz many years ago on another pokemon forum named Petalburgwoods (recently became inactive since 2019). Additionally, his signature had a link to The Coffee House. I viewed it and saved the link, but I did not join.

A few years later, I found Caludin listed on an RPG directory forum, independently and not knowing prior that it had been affiliated with Kyngz. Saved the link too.

I never had a strong reason to join either forum back then, but I guess now that Petalburgwoods is closing down soon, I need another place to dump my posts..I mean, salvage my stuffs

Awww, sad to hear it's closing down . I'd wondered how it was getting on - and I was intending to go back and catch up at some point!

(Though, you'll be pleased to hear that I don't have any plans to close this place any time soon )

I've seen affiliate banners of The Coffee House on all kinds of different forums that have been advertised on Forum Promotion over the years. I believe you guys were on ZetaBoards before? I know I have viewed this place a few times before in the past, but I just now finally decided to join.

Yes, we were. Until we were forced to move out like everybody else But this forum software's a lot better and I'm sure Kyng would agree

Well, in truth, I kind of wanted to move anyway; I just didn't want to lose eight years' worth of posts on the old board. I just needed an impetus to move - and that was provided by the Tapatalk announcement. 

But, yes, this is much better than ZB was. ZB was great in its day, but fell severely behind the times over the years .

Oh yeah, I used to go on this now inactive forum called Burnsticks and the admin there had posted an affiliate link thread leading to TCH so I joined, but only because the admin was a friend of mine and I wanted to talk to him more. But then I realized that guy had long been inactive on TCH, and he's still inactive. In fact, he's not even on here because he stopped being active 6 months prior to the TCH ZB shutdown! 

He is still on the Discord server though. His name is Loops.

But then I realized that guy had long been inactive on TCH, and he's still inactive. In fact, he's not even on here because he stopped being active 6 months prior to the TCH ZB shutdown! 

He is still on the Discord server though. His name is Loops.

Pity we haven't seen much of him lately: I miss him ! 

He did get re-registered (here), so he is still welcome to come back any time he wishes .
