There are definitely pros and cons to both sides. Personally, my (rather limited) experience with phpBB has been positive, but that's not been from owning a forum on it - I'm not particularly certain what the interface for managing a forum looks like, so I can't really comment on that side of things. However, if there's not too much difference between the two, perhaps it's better to stick with what you have? If you think down the line you'd benefit from moving, then go for a move. But if the difference the move causes will be minimal, then stick with what you have. Moves don't always work out.
Really, it comes down to which of the two fits your needs better, in terms of ease of use, hassle of moving accounts and posts, and features that are enabled by the software.
