You may remember that, in the closing days of the old ZetaBoards forum, we ran a poll to determine which theme should be my first MyBB conversion with the responsive BootBB templates. This poll was won by the Obsidian Metal theme - which was completed in time for the new board's official opening on 24th June.
Naturally, with it being my first responsive MyBB theme (and with the pressure of having to get it done on time for the move), it wasn't that great. I didn't really know my way around the responsive CSS at the time - and, consequently, it was quickly eclipsed by my subsequent themes and conversions (most notably, Fire and Charcoal). It just didn't hold up very well - and so, now that I know my way around the CSS better, I've decided to give it another go.
The new theme is only loosely based on the original Obsidian Metal. In fact, it has more in common with Fire and Charcoal - although, I've also incorporated other techniques that I learned from the Lucky Blue and Christmas theme conversions. Add in some graphics created by both Nilla and Oscar - and now, at long last, I am ready to unveil the result .
First of all, for the sake of comparison, here's the old theme:

And now, here's the new (and much-improved) version:

If you want to use this, then go to the theme chooser at the bottom of the board, and select "Obsidian Metal Rework (Responsive)". This has replaced the old one on the theme chooser for most people; however, the old version is still available to those of you who have purchased More Themes access.
One final note: we'd like a permanent name for this theme, so if you have any ideas, head over to the "Name Our Theme" contest!
Enjoy !
