Yeah, when it's put like that, it doesn't sound like good value at all .
I suppose it might work out well for someone who isn't picky with games (so they'd enjoy most of the free ones), and has a great connection - but, there can't be very many of those people!

900 bucks + full price games + sub required.
900 bucks could get you a decent entrylevelish gaming PC even as a pre-build. Before tax the gaming PC I got in December was 905 USD. That is included an upgrade to a AMD Ryzen R7 2700.
Here were the specs
AMD Ryzen 5 1600 Processor 3.2GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB GDDR5 (I swapped this out for my 1070, the 1060 is now in my work computer).
16GB DDR4-2400 RAM
1TB HDD+250GB SSD
Microsoft Windows 10 Pro
And I rarely if ever get games at current Full AAA prices (60+ USD), I just want for those sweet sweet Steam sales.

So basically it's cloud gaming? Like a netlix for video games? I never really got the concept of this when I first heard about it.

Netflix if you had to pay for each Show or episode you watched on top of the monthly subscription fee.

Now, Google Stadia executive Jack Buser is promising that Google Stadia will offer "way better" multiplayer than any console will - and it'll be like "the world's largest LAN party":
https://screenrant.com/google-stadia-mul...le-better/
Based on what's been said previously in this thread (regarding lag, and so on), I have my doubts ...

......uhhh... no.... Bloody Hell.....Its physically impossible for that. There will be lag, Anything that is further then 300,000 meters will have lag (well there would still be lag but assuming everything from the Network to input etc runs at the speed of light and assuming fiber opics doesn't slow down the light, which it does)

Interestingly, Google has launched Google Play Pass I guess as a stab to Xbox Game Pass and Apple Arcade.
I don't think it will combine with Stadia though.

Yeah, I doubt it: Google Play Pass seems to be more for mobile apps, while Stadia is more for higher-end console games.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Stadia customers getting a discount on Google Play Pass at some point - but, I can't see the two services directly having anything to do with one another.
