Mainly use gmail. But also use iCloud as well. I have some other accounts like hotmail, but I rarely use these. Also have an AOL one, but again rarely use it.

I haven't made a new email since 2012. That being said, I have 6 emails.
I have two yahoo, one personal that I use frequently, and a professional one with my full name. Then, I have my first ever email, for AOL. (You guys remember those days?), I have one for mailinator (Kind of like a junk mail), a hotmail, and a Gmail, that I created for whatever reason..
I've used Gmail for, well... ages. I can't recall what I used before Gmail. I probably have a variety of email providers I used before Gmail that my addresses are floating around on, attached to dead accounts. I rarely, if ever use Gmail on desktop computers, but instead use their mobile app on my iPhone. It is so simple to get a badge alert, check the email(s), then deal with them accordingly with the app.
Outlook/hotmail is my main e-mail, made years back, but a load of crap, newsletters and such get sent to it, so I don't check it that often. Also have a Gmail which I try to keep 'for best' for my creative, professional side. Various other e-mail accounts have existed, such as a Yahoo one made solely so I could make a Flickr account (usual e-mail provider otherwise).

I have two gmail email accounts, one is a throwaway that I made for a business that never took off and now I use it for stuff I don't want to send to my main account.
My first email address was a Yahoo one, which I created back in late 2007. However, I mainly use a gmail account now, which I created in 2012 I believe. I haven't used any other provider.

Outlook is starting to become such a joke... I only keep mine around because it is the first one I have ever had, since 2004.
The stupid layout, the way it filers e-mails (legit ones go to the trash can more often than blatantly spammy ones do! Oh yeah - I totally wanted to learn miore about Viagra. Dbag) and how slow and unresponsive it is all leads me to believe that they just don't care anymore. Why would they? Gmail has kicked their asses so thoroughly, there is no real point anymore. I bet they don't even remember they still have this service going xD
