Ah yes - I've seen (and enjoyed) quite a few of his videos .

As for the issues raised here: we did have a topic fairly recently about "kindness influencers", and his name did come up in it. On the one hand, it is easy to say "he's just doing it for the attention" - and I'm sure there is some truth in that. On the other hand, I'm sure the amounts of money he's given away have done a great deal to help improve their lives.

So, while I'm not inspired by his content (in the same way that I would be by stories of pure altruistic generosity - even ones where the amount of money involved is much lower), I do still have a positive view of him overall.

I never even watched his videos nor I subscribed to his channel.

Mr Beast definitely has made his impact and is hard-working. You would think that he is older than he is but he isn’t. I do admire his creativity and dedication to his videos as he will invest for production value. The Squid Games wasn’t too bad as I watched clips of it online. But it does scare me a bit that Squid Games was based on a dystopian world and that was recreated. Prime is also interesting too and isn’t bad tasting.

I would say that the controversy with the woman who does the baking (her name starts with R but I have forgotten it) does concern me. I might be mistaken but she entered a game where she hid and someone else was found before her but it was edited to make it look like she was our first. She also raided some valid concerns about Lunchables and I feel like this was thrown back in her face. Although, this was not thrown at her by Mr Beast at all. I don’t know too much about it though. There was also something weird about some WhatsApp group chats but I can’t remember what became of it. 

But generally speaking I don’t engage too much with Mr Beast content. He is very successful and creative though.
