Call of Duty or Halo?

Which of these two FPS series do you like best?

Halo is better value, IMO. The Master Chief Collection will give you 6 Halo games for one price (1-4, ODST & Reach). And Halo puts more effort into its games, where as COD seems to throw out too many and choose quantity over quality.

The campaigns of Halo 1-3, ODST and even Reach are top tier and very engaging for shooter campaigns.

The campaigns in COD have been lame and dull in recent times, so I only tend to play COD for the multiplayer now, since I have a few friends who like to play COD's multiplayer online. Prior to 2012, the COD campaigns and stories were incredible, but then the series released too many games and it suffered as a result.

I don’t really have experience with either. My family loved Halo growing up but I voted Call of Duty. Prop hunt looks fun and the game seems to be more my thing.

If I'm to go franchise vs franchise I would say Halo because the classic Halo games are a key part of my childhood and they hold a special place in my heart. That said I'm not familiar with the games after Halo 4 so I can't rate Halo as it stands now. Call of Duty has plenty of decent games but none are particularly beloved by me but I'd also play any of them if I got them cheap enough.
