9 years - and 40,000 posts

Greetings, Coffee House members! I have not one, but two, celebratory announcements to make today. 

• First of all, we've made it to 9 years old! When @"ObsessedwithBirds" and I started up on 3rd December 2009, with what was then known as the "Imperial Forum", I'm sure neither of us could have imagined that this operation would still be running a decade later - and yet, that goal is now only one year away . Of course, this past year hasn't been the easiest: the demise of ZetaBoards forced us to move away from our old home. But, as the saying goes, "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger" - and, I think we emerged from those trials in a stronger position than ever. So, I'd like to thank everybody who made this possible - and I look forward to the 10-year celebrations this time next year!
  
  
• Secondly, our new forum made it to 40,000 posts! @ Pyrite had the honour of making the milestone post itself, in the "What Animal am I?" contest. And it is quite a milestone, considering the new board has been running for less than half a year!

In celebration of both announcements, everybody who has been active over the past week will be receiving a gift of 940 Coffee Credits. We'll be holding more celebrations over the course of the week - and then, we'll be unveiling our MyBB conversion of our Christmas theme (which is just receiving its finishing touches).

Well, according to the 8th anniversary announcement, it was only 800. 

So, either your memory is playing tricks on you, or I screwed up and gave you 10 times as many as I was supposed to !

Congrats to @ Kyng and @"ObsessedwithBirds" for having this forum running for so long. It's been a wonderful five years with you guys since I joined. Here's to many more active years for TCH.
