I wish people would stop making movies based on video games... it never works, and it seems that nobody learnt lessons from the disaster that was Super Mario Bros (1993) 😒

I mean, they do occasionally work out (for example: I thought the Sonic film was good once they'd fixed the title character's appearance). But, yes - films based on video games do have a very poor track record in general!

The recent Mario movie was quite good, and the Sonic and Five Nights At Freddies ones were quite good too.

But yes, most of the time they are fairly rubbish, and they have a fairly poor record.
