#1
Figured we could use a thread for Nintendo's all star fighting game.

What's some of your favorite Smash games or characters?

I've played since 2002. I was competitive from 2007-2012, and then I quit for WoW. I play semi competitively now, I guess.

Smash 64 and Melee would have to be my favourites. I've played 64, Melee, and Brawl competitively. Not WiiU. Want to play Ultimate. Looks incredible.

Ive played Smash on N64, Wii and Wii U. I never tried the 3DS game but my siblings have it. I normally play as Ness/Lucas and Ganon. Occasionally, Bowser.

Brawl was probably my favourite one.

Brawl was a really broken game. I grew to hate it. So imbalanced.

Yeah, I noticed that the character stats were a bit eh as some were so overpowered, such as MetaKnight. However, the game was still a classic for me. My older brother helped mod the game to make the character stats more fair so it wasn't bad so unfair.

Meta Knight was ridiculous. Just ridiculous.

Oh, he's a Project M developer?

Honestly, I'm not sure what it was because it was years ago and we all just went with it. It added a channel called Geko and we could also play ROMs on the Wii with it. The only problem was that if we updated the Wii, it would've deleted the channel.

He might have just been one of the guys that tested it, not sure.

Gecko through Homebrew? That's probably Brawl+ then in all honesty. It didn't feel like a completely different engine, did it?

Yesss that's the one. It was Brawl+, I remember Homebrew! My memory is so bad, hahaha. It wasn't drastically different honestly and I think we also changed some of the outfits of the characters too.

Brawl+ was focused primarily on balance, yeah. It wasn't too drastic, but I did appreciate the tweaking and fine tuning. It later was abandoned and Project Melee took its place.
