Not only is this great as a hearing aid, but also as a potential use case in neurodiverse conditions like Autism, where people may have sensory challenges with focusing on someone talking during background noise.

Kyng!!! You need to see this!!!

It’s great that this has a potentially positive impact on those with autism, I feel hidden disabilities should be considered more, and marketed accordingly.

I’m sure there’s great technology for those with neurodiverse conditions, but innovators don’t have the awareness to market the products for such use cases. This creates the catch-22 situation where lack of awareness from innovators and advertisers leads to a lack from those in need of such products, regarding  the beneficial uses.

Yeah, this does sound very useful - especially since I quite often don't catch things, and have to ask people to repeat them!

Granted, blocking out all other noises is likely to sound unnatural (and quite eerie) at first - but, I'm sure I could get used to it in time :) .

Had the feeling this would interest you Kyng my friend! Only issue for me is I absolutely loathe any sounds coming directly into my ears !
