More hated than Satan

This fits for Watto. The villains like Palpatine and Maul are charismatic and cool but Watto is just a slave owner which is a really sore point.

I feel hello kitty used to be a pretty well hated character for many years tbh (without really grasping….why. Nothing about her ever personally rubbed me the wrong way o.o) but obviously that’s changed now cos she is probably more popular now than she has ever been xD Many stores have her like nearly everywhere now. My new helper has been noticing it a lot, especially.

I think, honestly, people just found her to be different and just needed to accept she is still a cat and a cartoon cat doesn’t have to be totally like a real cat to be cat like enough anyways.

Also, I feel America is starting to generally be more at ease with kawaii in general now. It’s not like how it was back in the 2000s, where you were….seen as not such a respectable person if you even so much as liked the colour pink a little o.o;;; that said, I was a total rebal back in 2004, I swear, letting people know I loved pink AND wearing dresses…and, thankfully, though people tried to make me turn away from those days……honestly, I am just too badarse to even let them put me down like that in the end. Especially now.

edit; and, yes, I am aware she is really a “little girl that’s drawn like a cat”. But she still is like a fictional cat overall anyways. I think people understanding she is an antromorth/jijika also helped her get less hate over time. Technecly, she is more cat girl than actual cat, but anything cat related really is just cool as a general rule anyways.

….I am sure most of us can agree that cat videos on YouTube are one of the best things out there ;3

also hello kitty being in reality a little girl rather than actual cat just screams girl power imo and in this day and age I feel that’s just a really good thing.

Spoiler

Here’s the big problem: Hello Kitty isn’t a jerk or otherwise nor does she fight villains most of the time. Contrast with Boscha, who is a high school sports girl and bully who’s more hated than Emperor Belos aka the Hitler of The Owl House due to teenage bullies being a more immediately relatable threat than Nazis-or rather Witchfinders with Nazi-like ideologies.

I feel a bit confused by jhg’s post…

All I can say is I never understood why people thought hello kitty was bad in the past. Or even bullied me for liking her to begin with.

It just angered me especially because hello kitty is nice and cute and positive :( People are scary….
