I am huge Hunger Games fan. I own all the movies and the books but it's been a long since I read or watched them.

I’ll definitely be buying this as I have been a long-term The Hunger Games fan. Hopefully this book will do the rest of the series justice.

This will be another prequel - set 24 years before the first book, but 40 years after The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. So I guess this will tell Haymitch's story?

It’s awful that his reaping was rigged and I already know from the other books that his girl and family will die. I really like Maysilee and I know that they are allies in the arena even if she is stuck up. I am enjoying seeing more backstory of the characters, such as Katniss’s dad, mum and Effie. I am looking forward to reading this even if it will hurt.
I’ve started reading the new Hunger Games book. Wow - my heart breaks.
